We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Delivery Analyst within the Data and Analytics Office (DBS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Delivery for DAO Group Functions in Hong Kong, this role will focus on delivering data for the Group Functions and supporting various regulatory activities.
• Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager to ensure prioritized use cases are aligned with data requirements, tested for impact, and delivered effectively to end users.
• Conducting Data Analysis within the established framework and completing Impact Assessment Analysis to deliver data assets.
• Shaping the development and enhancement of data platforms and refineries to ensure data is sourced from trusted channels.
• Supporting data provisioning via strategic data platforms.
• Working in close partnership with internal teams, process owners, and external stakeholders (e.g., data engineers) to successfully deliver data assets to consumers across functions.

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Significant relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and processes, particularly in Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Hadoop and GCP ecosystems, along with technical proficiency in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence is an asset.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate within the organization.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Team player with the ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with offshore resources.
