Amazon Hiring for Data Associate – Fresher

When customers search or browse products on Amazon, the Amazon Search services come into play. The Human Labeled Data (HLD) team supports these services by providing high-quality data annotation, improving the AI/ML models behind the search functionality. Our goal is to enhance the customer search experience by ensuring that product labels match search queries accurately, driving business value with scalable and cost-effective labeling solutions. We work closely with applied machine learning teams to enhance semantic matching, ranking, computer vision, image processing, and augmented reality.

We are seeking motivated and talented individuals to provide and review high-quality data annotations for various tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities: As a Data Associate I, ML, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely data annotations for a range of workflows. Your tasks will be repetitive and require quick decision-making based on provided guidelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving business metrics like SLA, production, and quality targets.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining daily work records using trackers or workflow tools.
  • Adhering to SOPs and ensuring quality compliance.
  • Contributing ideas for project and process improvements.
  • Providing timely responses to stakeholders following SOPs and SLAs.
  • Raising any issues that could impact deliverables or operations to management.
  • Analyzing data, identifying patterns, and suggesting rules to improve processes.
  • Working with sensitive content, including adult material, religious topics, tobacco, weapons, and other potentially offensive items.
  • Troubleshooting process issues and conducting root cause analysis if needed.
  • Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce) processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
