This position is part of the Master Data Management (MDM) team, which is responsible for supporting MDM strategies, requirements, and policies aligned with AXA XL’s goals. The role of the Assistant Scientist involves utilizing expertise in EBX MDM to assist in the implementation process for various projects and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. You will be engaged in the design and deployment of EBX across various MDM projects involving reference, party, location, and product data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and translate them into technical requirements, taking the lead in defining and clarifying requirements when needed.
- Assess the feasibility and complexity of business requirements.
- Assist customers and other stakeholders in generating demand.
- Support the MDM delivery team in the design, development, user training, and operations with the EBX tool.
- Provide guidance to developers and ensure that technical designs align with functional requirements.
- Regularly report progress and performance to the Team Leader.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Team Leader about any business issues.
- Frequently interact with key stakeholders and project sponsors to understand their needs related to MDM and offer business solutions.
- Ensure complete compliance with defined Service Level Agreements, including productivity, turnaround time, and accuracy.
- Design, build, test, and provide user training for MDM projects and BAU changes.
- Share relevant information with the business customer community.
- Help translate business requests into EBX processes.
- Assist the MDM team in acquiring EBX expertise.
- Provide training to MDM users.
- Monitor data quality.
- Support business processes across all segments.

You will report directly to the Team Lead.
Share Your Talent
Required Skills and Abilities:
- A university graduate with relevant experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management (RDM) processes, as well as data analysis/data initiatives, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Hands-on experience with a Master Data Management tool, ideally Tibco EBX.
- Proficiency in SQL Server (SQL Server 2016 or later) and T-SQL development.
- Strong understanding of the MDM implementation process.
- Good knowledge of data analysis, data and process modeling, and relational database concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and time management skills.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with REST API, Web Services, XML, SOAP, and integration middleware like MuleSoft.
- Knowledge of Tomcat, WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere build processes.
- Understanding of the insurance industry and party data.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify and analyze discrepancies.
