Responsibilities
As part of the software engineering division, you will leverage your basic knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, and design software applications or operating systems based on provided design specifications. You will also enhance features within an existing software architecture.

• Enhance existing software applications.
• Develop and design new reports, including data retrieval via SQL, data processing, and representation based on requirements.
• Gather requirements, understand the project scope, create work estimates, and effectively plan and execute tasks.
• Handle client interactions and collaborate with stakeholders to meet their needs.
• Participate in technical design discussions and collaborations at the component level.
• Perform debugging and document root cause analysis and resolutions.
• Identify and propose process improvements at the team level to support operations and the development environment.
• Provide support during software releases.
• Develop an understanding of healthcare workflows and the Millennium data model.

Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in one of the following fields is required:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Computer Applications
• Computer Information Systems
• Information Technology
• Information Systems

Skills
Required:

• SQL, PL/SQL, Database Management Systems, Programming (Python, Java, C++), Debugging, Version Control (Git), Unit Testing, Data Analysis.

Soft Skills:

• Problem-Solving, Collaboration, Communication, Attention to Detail, Adaptability, Time Management, Continuous Learning, Mentorship (even at a basic level to assist peers).

Preferred:

• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Business Objects, Power Insight, DA2), CCL, Healthcare Workflow.
